Did you know that meaningful literacy activities, such as reading, singing and playing with children, can impact a child’s brain development and help provide them with the pre-reading skills that they need to start school? Bring your toddler or pre-school-aged children to the library and help them acquire the early literacy skills needed for success in school. We’ll have stories, songs, finger plays, and craft activities. Parents will learn techniques for reading to children at home to increase vocabulary and improve listening skills.
